How To: 8 Weeks To The New You

Body: 8 Weeks Part 2

Dr. Mao is the natural-health expert for Yahoo!Health and author of “Secrets of Longevity’s 8 Week Program” that I will bring to you in a shortened version for the next 8 weeks.  I will post the weekly 5 new habits to start that particular week.  As the weeks pass you should incorporate the habits you learn from each week into your life and by the end of 8 weeks you will be transformed in ways you didn’t realize you could be.  The 5 new habits will be posted weekly so try to incorporate 1 habit a day and stick to it and continue until you have completed all 5 habits for the week.  Then each week you will take on 5 more while continuing the ones you had the previous week.  Change your life in an easy and remarkable way.  Let’s get started with the first 5 habits for this week 1.

Week number 1:
1.  Drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water throughout each day.
2. Drink 2 cups of detoxifying tea once a day.
3. Get a plant for fresh air (once this week).
4. Take a 20-minute walk once a day.
5. Close your eyes and breathe deeply for 10 counts once a day.

Tips for week 1:
Avoid sugars except for the sugar in fruits which you should consume during the earlier part of the day.
Take your multi-vitamin daily.
Brush and FLOSS twice daily without fail. (Dr. OZ from TV says flossing is one of the most important things you can do daily to help prevent heart issues and to help extend your life.  Google it.)
